In this video Julie and I took to the waterways in search of sunken treasures. We threw on our fins and snorkels and enlisted the help of scuba treasure hunter extraordinaire, Connie W. to show us the ropes on the Salt River outside of Phoenix, AZ. And you wont believe how many valuable treasures we found! iPhone 14s, brand new GoPros, and so much more!
Connie and her Salty Scuba Squad have been diving the Salt River for years, cleaning out trash and returning lost valuables to unfortunate tubers, kayakers, and paddle boarders. We also learned how to freedive from PADI certified freediver and instructor Derek at Kracken Mare freediving. Check out his page if you’re interested in learning how to freedive. He teaches classes in the Phoenix area, and at times throughout the year, in Pensacola, FL.
