Fender Studio Pro 8.1 adds a natural-language Studio Assistant, Moises stem and backing-track tools, a new Vocal Tune plugin and pitch curves drawn straight onto audio. Here is what actually changed and whether it earns the update.
We walk through the main workflow additions in 8.1. The Studio Assistant lets you pull up documentation, knowledge base answers and creative advice with voice commands without leaving the session. Moises Studio integration brings backing-track creation, vocal transformation, and stem separation into the timeline, with no exporting or file shuffling. The new Vocal Tune plugin handles pitch from subtle natural correction through to stylised transformation with formant shifting. Pitch Curves on Audio Events let you draw musical movement directly onto recorded audio, so bends and corrections feel closer to playing than editing.
There is more under the hood: faster stem separation that stays local to your machine, improved Audio-to-Note with expanded drum support, Dolby Atmos headphone personalisation, shared virtual instrument sets to cut load times, and deeper scoring and articulation control.
