Hey guys, it's your favorite gold miner, prospector, and geologist Jeff Williams — and this one is about chasing gold the way it was meant to be chased.
Most prospectors find a little color in a dry wash and call it a day. Me and my buddy Jimmy Jam? We kept going.
We fired up the drywasher, sampled wash after wash, and followed the gold uphill — because in the desert, placer gold doesn't just appear out of nowhere. It's coming from somewhere. And if you know how to read the ground, you can follow it right back to the source.
That's exactly what we did. And what we found up in those hills made the whole day worth it.
