What started off as a boring lawn on 1/8th acre of the recently renovated Meadow House has become a charming, diverse cottage garden in two short years time.
Back in May 2024, we began creating the shapes of the garden beds, and shortly went to work on squelching the lawn with cardboard. We lucked out by getting many pallet loads of "soil seconds" from @EspomaOrganic, which they could no longer sell because they were sitting outside too long, but they were PERFECT for us, and gave us the opportunity to make these beds come to life.
