At MedStar Washington Hospital Center, we are safe and ready to care for you. We are taking extraordinary measures to protect all of our patients and staff.

Before coming into the building, all patients will be required to wear a mask and get their temperature taken.

If it's above 100.4, appointments will be rescheduled. For safety reasons, no visitors are permitted.

We sanitize and disinfect exam rooms and procedure rooms between every appointment. All high touch surfaces are cleaned frequently. Once inside, patients will see floor markers, signage and rearranged waiting areas to make sure everyone practices physical distancing.

Appointments are staggered to minimize the number of people in the waiting areas.

We are also washing our hands frequently and wearing personal protective equipment.

Additionally, every patient scheduled for a procedure or surgery will receive a COVID-19 test prior to their appointment.

We are all in this together. Make sure you wear your mask, wash your hands frequently and practice physical distancing. This protects you and everyone around you.

MedStar Washington Hospital Center has always been committed to the highest safety standards. Your wellbeing is our number one priority.
