WCW Starrcade 95 is a very unique pay per view from World Championship Wrestling. This one features the "World Cup of Wrestling"; a best of seven series of matches pitting WCW against New Japan Pro Wrestling. Sting, Macho Man Randy Savage, Lex Luger and more represent WCW while guys like Masahiro Chono, Hiroyoshi Tenzan and Jushin "Thunder" Liger represent NJPW. The cup gets presented to the winners during this show, and then WCW moves forward with a triple threat match to determine the number 1 contender for Randy Savage's WCW Championship (the title match also takes place in the main event).
