The WCW Championship match for this PPV was originally scheduled to feature Jeff Jarrett defending the gold against Hollywood Hogan. The bell rang, Jarrett lay down on the mat, and what follows is one of the most pivotal moments in WCW history when Vince Russo cuts a work shoot promo on the Hulkster. The promo would lead to Hulk leaving WCW for good, and he'd also try to sue the company due to the promo's content.
