Why did this update take so long?
We had to move all the files from the old APK to a new and improved one that adds more features. This process took a lot of time considering the amount of countries, generals and units.
So without further delay, I proudly present: GPWM World Ablaze 1.3 "Flames of Ragnarök" Update.
Important Notes:
1. The new APK will update over your old one as usual, if you encounter any issues please continue trying and if it still doesn't work reinstall.
2. Upon the first time you open the updated mod you will receive a medal and a wonder. Don't worry, it's intended.
3. If you do not update for an older version but instead install the mod for the first time you MUST play all three tutorials (1, 2 and 3) to unlock all campaigns.
What's new in this update:
•Map Improvements
-Southeast Asia and the Philippines were remade to look more geographically accurate.
-Added more islands in the Pacific that are unreachable by plane.
-THIS WILL BREAK OLD CONQUEST SAVES SO BE WARNED.
•Medals
-Added 6 new medals that you can equip on your generals.
-In order to unlock them you must play any Hard Mode mission in WW2 Europe. Afterwards you need to check your achievements.
-If you played them all you must reinstall.
-The old medals can still be acquired in the same way (Exercise in Tripoli).
•Descriptions
Words cannot describe how much work was put into this, but I will still try:
-Added descriptions for every single general, unit and country.
-The description file contains 300,000 words and 2 million characters.
-Each description ranges from a few hundred to a few thousand characters in length.
-Some of descriptions are made using ChatGPT so inaccuracies might exist.
•Soundtrack
-Added a 1h 40min soundtrack to fully immerse you into the game.
•Missions
-Added/Revamped 15 missions as follows:
1. Winter War (Axis 3 Europe)
2. Continuation War (Axis 23 Europe)
3. Operation Eissturm (Icestorm, Axis 30 Europe)
4. Operation Poseidon (Axis 31 Europe
5. Operation Hagel (Hailstorm, Axis 32 Europe)
6. Battle of Kursk (Allies 4 Europe)
7. Operation Bagration (Allies 6 Europe)
8. Battle of Berlin (Allies 8 Europe)
9. Battle of Britain (Allies 4 Pacific)
10. Counterattack of BI (Allies 17 Pacific)
11. Operation Overlord (Allies 18 Pacific)
12. Operation Dragoon (Allies 20 Pacific)
13. Wuhan Offensive (Allies 22 Pacific)
14. Battle of Iwo Jima (Allies 24 Pacific)
15. Destination: Berlin (Allies 25 Pacific)
-In order to unlock all mission you must play any mission that you haven't played before, regardless of where it is. Remember, if this is a fresh install you must play all tutorials.
•Conquests
-Added 4 conquests as follows:
1. 1936 Kaiserreich: Legacy of the Weltkrieg
Features over 20+ events including dialogues, countries switching sides and surrender events.
Engage in a three faction war between the Reichspakt, Entente Cordiale and the Third Internationale.
2. 1938 Kaiserreich: World at War
The world of Kaiserreich two years later, but with some twists of my own.
Features over 20+ events including dialogues, countries switching sides and surrender events
Engage in a three faction war between the Reichspakt, Entente Cordiale and the Third Internationale.
3. 1940: Rise of Evil
Features the world as it was during May 1940, before the fall of France.
The USA and USSR will be unplayable at the start of the conquest, but will join the war after certain events.
The Pacific War will be triggered when Japan takes a certain city in China.
It also has events.
4. 1980: East vs West
Conquest that is still a work in progress, has no units but it is playable.
•Miscellaneous
-Strategic bombers can once again drop atomic bombs.
-Added 7 new generals(3 for USSR, 4 for Finland).
-Added custom emblems for the factions.
-Fixed a lot of bugs.
Known issues:
-Custom rocket artillery animation does not work. Currently there's nothing we can do about it. Same thing applies to the planes.
-Game can randomly crash when you open it or in HQ. We can't do anything about this either as it's because the mod is so massive.
-Upon opening, you might be prompted to rename the APK, please restart the game.
