Last year a group of Westminster Canterbury Lynchburg residents who enjoy cycling formed the WC Pedal Pushers. The group, along with the WC Wellness Manager, plans several group outings throughout the warmer months of the year. The ride for May was to explore the Danville, Virginia trails. Eight of the group met at the Danville Farmers' Market and road across the Dan River and entered the main trail. They chose to ride the eastern section of the trail. The entire trail system is almost 12 miles in length, so the group covered about half of it out and back.
There are other videos of the Danville Riverwalk Trail but I recommend interested parties have a look at Tom and Gretchen Morgan's "Bent on Bike Trails" channel and view their take on the trail: youtu.be/ftiVDTa1L8w?si=7nNwBqimMtMdqW3B.
