Wayland is a modern Linux display protocol that defines the communication between a display server called compositor and its clients. Weston is the references Wayland compositor. Here it runs on Raspberry Pi and 5 and 7” Raspberry Pi Touch Display 2. This is core-image-weston built with the Yocto Project and OpenEmbedded.
