Using multiple layers to create the subtle textures of the the fine neck feathers. Making sure each layer was completely dry before adding additional layers. I used Neutral Tint and Winsor Yellow to paint the eye. Neutral Tint, Viridian Green and Sap Green for the background. Transparent Orange, Scarlet Lake and Cobalt Violet for the flamingo.
