Watco , a large US company, has been hauling grain in Western Australia for over a decade, and in 2018 won the contract to haul grain for GBH , from Western and Central Queensland down to the Port of Mackay and Brisbane,
The regional town of Warrick , was chosen for their depot and headquarters and new locomotives are being made by NRE in the United States. While some have arrived months ago , this is the first chance I had to see one and a heads up from a work mate , had me trackside with the phone to get a shot of these brand new units!
As Watco start to run grain trains, you can be assured I will get the big camera trackside to record their progress!
