#NewMusicFriday: Sometimes people wonder how I choose people to be in our videos or projects. It’s always a very difficult task cos there’s so much talent but sometimes it’s their personality that leaves an impression. I met Charlotte a year and a bit ago when she performed in our second in-person concert. Not only was she very keen to perform, she was also keen on sharing her friend’s story with us when she knew that we’re raising money for GOSH. Over this entire year of lockdown, I’ve worked on several online projects with her. She’s always able to submit her things on time (often being the first one), willing to do anything extra (help organise, record guide tracks and many more), happy to learn new materials and very passionate about MT. Needless to say, she’s super talented as you can see in her solo video today. I found this track which, apart from the song itself, includes the monologue. Hope you enjoy Charlotte’s performance of ‘Watch What Happens’ from Newsies!
