Passing semi-trucks in Baja can feel like playing chicken. What happened to us in Baja could happen to you if you have a large RV. Nobody was hurt, but the the video cameras on the RV were rolling as a semi-truck passed too close. There are many rough stretches of highway throughout Baja that are very narrow with absolutely no shoulder. Semi trucks and large motorhomes (like ours) fill the entire lane. So passing each other on these narrow highways can be very nerve racking as you can see.
