Art-making is always full of twists and turns — some pieces fight you before they finally come together. This week, I’m working on a painting inspired by an old family photograph that needed lots of moving, sanding back, and starting over before it began to feel right. But slowly, the story started to emerge.
I’ll also share exhibition framing plans, old family photographs that may inspire future paintings, some peaceful moments during the heatwave, property updates, and of course plenty of Riley.
