Wat PhutthaiSawan is an historically important temple compound, located along the Chao Praya river just south of Ayutthaya island. New buildings now are in front of the older historical ones. The whitewashed old prang stands impressive in its courtyard. There is also a Reclining Buddha Image. Be sure to walk all the way through the compound to find it.
