I’ve been very critical of the Eisners and their ownership of Portsmouth Football Club. I’ve questioned the level of investment, the club’s transfer strategy and whether John Mousinho has been given everything he needs to compete in the Championship.
But you know what?
Maybe it’s time to give them some credit. 👏
With Abu Kamara returning to Portsmouth in a deal reportedly worth around £2.5 million, the signing of Marko Milovanović for a reported £5 million all-in, and Rocco Shein arriving for around £2 million, Pompey have suddenly made a very clear statement in the transfer market.
That’s a £9M+ investment in three players — and, importantly, it looks like the Eisners are finally backing John Mousinho and his vision for Portsmouth FC.
So in this video I’m asking a question I never thought I’d be asking:
HAVE THE EISNERS FINALLY GOT IT RIGHT?
I’ve spent plenty of time criticising the ownership when I’ve felt it was justified. But if the Eisners are now putting serious money into the playing squad, should Pompey fans be giving them the credit they deserve?
We’ll look at:

🔵 The reported £2.5M fee
🔵 Marko Milovanović’s move to Portsmouth
🔵 The reported £5M all-in investment
🔵 Rocco Shein’s £2M arrival

🔵 What these signings mean for Pompey’s Championship ambitions
🔵 Whether the Eisner ownership deserves more credit from Pompey supporters
🔵 And whether WE WERE WRONG about the Eisners?
I’ve always said I’ll call it as I see it on Scott Talks Pompey. If the ownership gets things wrong, I’ll say it. But if they start investing heavily and giving the manager the tools he needs to compete, they deserve praise too.
This isn’t about suddenly saying the Eisners are perfect. It’s about recognising when things change.
And right now, the level of investment into the Pompey squad certainly appears to be changing.
