Over the past few days, I have watched something deeply concerning unfold.
After sharing a Facebook post that received 200,000 views in just a few days, I received over 2,000 comments. Reading those comments convinced me that something much bigger is happening than people simply defending a public figure.
In this video, I explain why I believe a dangerous cult mentality is developing around Candace Owens.
And no—I am not paid by Israel.
The fact that I even have to say that reveals the deception that is taking place. For some people, my denial will only "confirm" their belief, because they assume that anyone who is paid would naturally deny it. Can you see the problem with that? It creates a belief system where no evidence can ever change someone's mind. Everything is interpreted as proof that Candace Owens is right, no matter what. That is exactly what makes this so dangerous.
This is not coming from someone who has always opposed Candace Owens. Quite the opposite. I appreciated much of what she stood for in the past, and I agreed with many of the questions she raised.
I have personally experienced government persecution, media distortion, and corruption during my 412 days in U.S. detention. Because of that experience, I understand why people question official narratives. I question them too.
But questioning authority should never mean blindly trusting another person.
We must examine every claim carefully, hear both sides, and refuse to give any human being unquestioning loyalty.
My prayer is that this video helps believers stay grounded in truth, humility, and discernment.
