I'm warning everyone about a new scam using AI deepfakes of me to promote a vitamin supplement I've never endorsed. This is an example of ai identity theft and is a deepfake crime, so be aware of ai generated content promoting products.
There are AI deepfakes of me spreading across the internet—fake videos using my face and voice to falsely promote eye vitamin supplements I’ve never endorsed or even heard of. These scams are not only misleading but potentially dangerous, especially for people with serious eye conditions searching for help online. In the video, I break down how to spot these deepfakes, why they’re so harmful, and what I’m doing to fight back. It is possible the people making these deepfakes are also making and selling counterfeit versions of the supplement. Counterfit supplements is a real thing and is also another scary story.
