Last year, @Blizzard deleted items in thousands, perhaps tens of thousands, of guild banks when they applied the pre-patch to try to make guild banks cross-realm compatible. Millions of items vanished into the nether. With 11.2 looming on the horizon and the change to the banking system, will we see history repeat itself? Will Blizzard steal everyone's banks? Will there be data loss? Will there be restoration?

Please take the time to CHECK YOUR STUFF, inventory it, and make sure you know what (if anything) is missing when the servers come up after extended maintenance this week (August 5 or 6 of 2025).
And, as a question for you, what item, or items, would cause you to stop playing WoW if they vanished into the nether, never to be seen again?
