What IS The Great Blizzard Bank Heist, Exactly?
updated
And I started thinking about Scarab Lord, at which point a whole mess of thoughts crowded my mind. So here, my dear viewers, are some of my thoughts of Scarab Lord, the Brood of Nozdormu, and how I happened to witness and participate in some of the most epic questlines in WoW.
In case you're feeling adventurous, here's a guide to how to do it all:

00:00 Accepting the very first Nightmare Prey: Knight-Errant Bloodshatter (Eversong Woods)
28:09 Kurn finally uncovers the location of her Prey
28:50 Kurn's first attempt
36:10 Kurn goes back to Silvermoon for some consumables because apparently Nightmare is HARD
37:15 Kurn makes 21 (not 22) Royal Roasts, which still means the amount she had left is nothing short of hilarious
44:09 Kurn heads back out towards her Prey
45:45 Kurn eats the first of many Royal Roasts...
46:11 Kurn eats the second of many Royal Roasts...
47:00 Kurn is somewhat mistaken about potion cooldowns
47:34 Kurn's second attempt
49:10 Kurn discovers healing potions are on a whole other cooldown, apparently
52:41 Kurn's cooldowns have reset and she's heading back for attempt three
53:57 Kurn's third attempt
59:24 Kurn's fourth attempt
1:01:01 Kurn's phone starts ringing in the background π π π
1:02:10 Kurn dies because the evil clone thingy hits her without her even noticing...
1:03:20 Kurn gets interrupted while eating YET AGAIN! (It took 8 Royal Roasts on like 5 attempts, due to interruptions.)
1:04:20 Kurn's fifth attempt, and last for the moment, because she is getting HANGRY. (For the old Apoth folks and FHers watching: INFAMOUS LAST ATTEMPT!)
(Originally recorded in May, only uploaded now.)
This is her attempt to answer the question.
Note that this comes after the last Blue Prince playthrough and will be out of order. I think I have other videos to upload to catch up to this point in time.
Cheers to @CrackingTheCryptic for playing Blue Prince and spurring Kurn's imagination with this video:

Soooooooooooooooooo... she reloads. π
It's back to Nauvis for some REAL prep work. We're talking pumpjacks, trains, LOTS OF AMMO and all kinds of other nonsense. Kurn has a veritable laundry list of things to bring.
We also build a second rocket silo to aid in the quest to load up the Enterprise a bit more quickly.
It was just BAD on Vulcanus. Would YOU have reloaded too? Let me know in the comments! Every interaction helps a small channel like mine. Thanks so much for watching, and I wish you all the very best in 2026! ππ
Right?!
RIGHT?!?!
Find out if we get back to Vulcanus for an extended trip this time, and thank you for watching!
Hopefully.
Appreciate you watching, folks!π
I'm starting off in the Wetlands and, should I be successful in getting the Tiny Crimson Whelpling, I'll spin a wheel to see where I go next.
Tune in to see if I can do it!
Also, yes, this does, in fact, discuss why I am playing again after not playing for a year after the loss of many people's guild banks, including my own. If you don't know what I'm talking about, here's my playlist:

Once copper is fixed, maybe I can actually leave Nauvis and not die there.
Thanks for watching, friends!π
Copper... not so much. Like it's to the point where my rocket launches are severely impacted by this.
Will we EVER make it to Volcanus!??
Appreciate your viewership! π
Copper is running out, but coal is not a big deal right now, and we've started using some of our ever-growing supply of light oil to make some solid fuel.
The carbon thing STILL gets blocked up on Space Platform Alpha, but it's better than it was, although I feel like I can't just ignore it for very long.
We built more robots, too! Huzzah!
Thanks for watching, everyone. :)π
I mean, the sound is okay again! π
Coal is in a precarious position, so we're switching to nuclear in this episode. Tune in to find out how well THAT goes. (Miners and train stations and pipes, oh my!)
We keep running into issues with the carbon crusher thingymajig getting blocked up on Space Platform Alpha, but I'll fix that Next Time (tm).
Thanks, as always, for tuning in. It means a lot. π
The sound quality is freaking awful! I only realized post-upload. I know what setting got changed and Iβll fix it for next time. My sincere apologies! π
So coal WAS doing fine, but something changed and now we HAVE to go nuclear next time, for sure.
In other news, we get white/space science sort of going okay.
Fun fact, you cannot have an underground belt exist if, in fact, there is no platform underneath the underground!
The steel array seems to be, uh, lacking, but that's something for later.
Thanks so much for watching, please consider subscribing to help me reach 1000 subs! I appreciate your viewership a lot, and would love to hear your questions and comments. :) Thank you! π
Coal seems to be okay, but we're still looking at going nuclear.
The steel shortage is worked on extensively in this episode.
And we are so close to logistics, we can almost touch a requester chest.

Which means that she has 83 separate priorities and each could require a separate human working steadily on them. This, in turn, means that Kurn has the attention span of a goldfish as she runs from task to task.
There's a coal shortage, a steel shortage, a general iron shortage, plus she desperately wants to get logistics (which requires 500 white science) going so she doesn't have stupid box solutions any longer.
Thanks for watching, folks!
But she gets oil working enough to get plastic up for low-density structures and has multiple rocket launches before FINALLY crafting white/space science!
Thank you for watching, everyone! Next time, lots of fixing up of the main base.
Don't miss the end when Kurn messes up a delivery to Nauvis...

But.
WE ACTUALLY GET TO SPACE!!!!!
:insert Kermit flail here:
There's SO much left to do, so please stick around, consider dropping a like, leave a comment, even subscribe. Your interactions are so helpful. Thank you!
And then, to make matters worse, the next day, which Kurn had off from work, saw a 13-plus hour power outage.
π€¬
ANYWAY, here's the first bit of iron ore to steel (needed for launching to space), with more coming Soon (tm).
Please do consider liking this video, leaving a comment or even subscribing to my channel. Every bit of interaction helps. Thank you so much!
Will we do it this time?
Well, there's a LOT to do and we're running low on stone and steel and we have to do something about both situations. π¬
Please drop a like, subscribe, leave a comment! It's really helpful to me, thank you so much. :)
... except that Kurn needs more copper and more green chips and more red chips and more plastic and also rocket fuel and low-density structures and and and and!
Tune in to find out if we're able to launch our first rocket!
Please consider liking this video if you liked it, please consider subscribing if you really liked it, and please know that I appreciate your watching. Thanks so much!
We needed red chips. We built a new array.
We cobbled together a very questionably stable array for purple and yellow science... and we got it going!!! πππ
For now. π
Still lots of work to do, but next on the list? Space... the final frontier. π
Thank you for any interaction with this video -- likes, comments, subscriptions, all are welcome as my war with the algorithm continues.
We manage to get some fun things, though, like PERSONAL LASERS for our POWER ARMOR. We maaaaaay fry some bugs. β‘π
Next time, hopefully we get the chips situation (and therefore the science situation) sorted!
Every interaction with my videos helps out, so please consider subscribing! I'd appreciate a like or a comment, too. Thank you! :)
Next: more green chips for more blue chips and then HOPEFULLY purple and yellow science... not to mention that whole "space" thing!
Please consider subscribing, liking this video or leaving a comment. I'm trying to hit 1000 subs and every bit of interaction helps me with that pesky algorithm. Thank you!
And she couldn't.
Because she hasn't done blue chips yet.
And she can't do blue chips without A LOT more iron. So that's what we focus on today!
Help me in the war against the algorithm and consider subscribing, liking this video or dropping a comment. Every bit helps me to get to 1000 subs. Thank you! :)
She also laments now having to do purple and yellow science.
Please drop a comment, consider liking this video, and subscribing. I'd appreciate you helping me get to 1000 subs. Thank you! :)
Please consider liking, dropping a comment, and subscribing. Everything helps with the algorithm! Thank you. :)
But she also starts a new drilling operation, tapping some copper, to make extra green and red chips.
Thanks for watching, please drop a like, a comment, and consider subscribing. :)
Kurn really should have done this ages ago, but better late than never.
We also research Military 3, which we weren't originally going to do... but guess what awesome military equipment comes from Military 3? TANKS! Some bugs are gonna diiiiiiie.
Thanks so much for watching, I appreciate you and your time. Please do consider subscribing. :)
Plus, there's so much to research and so much more to come!
Thank you for watching, please don't hesitate to drop a like or a comment or even subscribe. :)

... but things are slow going because absolutely everything she needs to set up her ore to iron plate to steel pipeline requires, that's right, STEEL!
Follow along with Kurn as she handcrafts things, steals steel from other parts of her factory and finally gets close to getting her steel production going!

We also expand our power system and very soon we'll be able to get steel production going. There's so much to do, it's super exciting, and I appreciate you joining me in the fun.

Then, Kurn realizes she needs red chips for blue science. So she puts down a blueprint for red chips.
And then realizes she needs plastic for the red chips. #sadmoose
Still, we get oil sorted and plastic started and there's so much to do, gang!
Thanks so much for watching, drop a like and don't forget to subscribe!
She does some exploring, some blueprint laying of train tracks and, not gonna lie, gets super discouraged by the number of enemies around her as well as the number of trees she has to cut down. π
Thanks so much for watching, drop a like and don't forget to subscribe!
With π΄ red/green π’ science going strong, Kurn starts plotting out where to put train stations. She finds oil and has plans to bring in some extra iron, too.
She finally connects coal to the boilers via belts, and is just about ready for TRAINS!!!
Kurn crafts a bunch of stuff by hand πbut it's worth it to get:
- A copper mining array β
- A copper smelting array β
- A green chip array β
All of those lead us to a π΄ red/green π’ science array! π
Also, we kill a couple bugs and upgrade our power π‘like whoa.
Everything is a giant pain in the butt, until Kurn puts together an array for iron smelting, with a sweet blueprint courtesy of @KatherineOfSky! Thank you so much for sharing your blueprints with the world!
Kurn cleans out some biter bases, researches Automation 2, and is prepared to really do red and green science properly in the next episode.
In this opening episode, Kurn sets up a kind of functional mini base to start, screws up red science somehow, takes out a few biters and worms, and also longs for bots.
