Another nostalgic favourite of mine from back in the halcyon days of the 16-bit home computer(s). If you want to ignore the intro then skip to 03:14

War Zone is top down shooter similar in style to the likes of Commando, Ikari Warriors, Mercs and a hundred thousand other shooters out there. It doesn't really offer anything new as such but it's still an enjoyable experience nonetheless.

Rarity wise then the big box version can be tricky to find whereas the budget version isn't too scarce. Despite the big box/non-budget version being uncommon that doesn't make it expensive - I paid a couple of quid for mine on ebay and there was only 1 other bidder so don't pay over the odds unless you are absolutely desperate to get your mitts on a copy.
