Another nostalgic favourite of mine from back in the halcyon days of the 16-bit home computer(s). If you want to ignore the intro then skip to 02:37
Silkworm is an early 16-bit shooter (also converted to the 8-bit systems) and is quite basic in appearance but still plays a fine game. Even though the difficulty curve of the jeep is quite steep it does add depth to the gameplay - particularly if you are going old skool by playing co-op with a friend.
Don't be fooled into paying the current ebay prices because it's simply not worth the 30 quid that i've recently seen it listed for. I can't remember exactly how much I paid but it was around a fiver, give or take - and that's more of a realistic (current) valuation. Then again much like anything it's not just supply and demand but what YOU are prepared to pay. If this is a game that means the world to you then you might not flinch at paying over the odds!
