Here are the SFX and animation for Wanda Fox's silly spirits that she kept inside her teacups in Knott's Bear-y Tales. This effect was seen inside her tent in the Fortune Teller's Camp scene and was achieved by playing an animation on a scrim. The spirits would then be appearing in their natural smoky color and even change colors as well (not in the video).
The animation was done by special effects specialist and former Disneyland magician Leo Behnke. Who Rolly Crump hired to handle that process of the ride's development.
