Years ago in 1987, an employee by the name of D. Tetley rescued many pieces and animatronics from the original Knott's Bear-y Tales. These pieces were stored underneath the Wacky Soap Box Racers and were threatened to be destroyed or maybe reused for the Funhouse attraction. Thankfully Tetley was able to recover about half of the old ride. To where it all still exists to this day!
I apologize for capturing this video off of my Iphone. But until that day comes when we get the proper transfer of the footage. Here is something to entertain you guys from 1993! Tetley loved using these characters for his Halloween parties and attractions! Keeping their memory alive! Here you'll find Doctor Fox (different due to loss of his original fur) and other friends from the attraction!
