Major construction is now finished on my Primitive Thatched Hut. The walls are made of sticks, giant cane, and fan palm leaves. There are two doors and a window. About 100 fan palm leaves were used and about 50 giant cane stems. The stones at the base protect the walls from rain splashing. Next week I will make the fireplace with adobe bricks.
