diyforknuckleheads.com Installing the Wall and Ceiling Insulation. G'day Knuckleheads and welcome to Episode 29 of my Owner Builder Series. In this Ep we look at installing the wall and ceiling insulation. I finish up using R 2.0 for the exterior and interior walls and R 3.5 for the ceiling insulation. I needed some soundproofing as well so on a few of the walls l installed CSR Bradfords Soundscreen Acoustic Batts in conjunction with CSR Gyprocks Soundchek Plasterboard ( drywall ). After all this work l should have a very energy efficient home!
