Black Hill, in the Peak District, is the highest hill in West Yorkshire, England. Its summit rises to an elevation of 582 m (1,909 ft) above sea level.
It is surpassed in height by only two other major summits in the Peak District.
Kinder Scout and Bleaklow.
Starting at Digley Reservoir car park we walked to Blackpool bridge our first stop for refreshments then up into the moors.
Decent walking terrain after the recent dry spell and we climb toward the summit the views get better and better.
Nothing to see but moorland with Castle Hill and Emley Moor Mast protruding in the distance.
