We are walking from Melrose in Scotland, crossing the border with England and on to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne. It's a 100km ancient pilgrim's route to an important centre of Celtic Christianity. Being in our early 70s we thought we might need a rest day and when we looked into it the town looked like an interesting place to explore. Come with us on our journey.
