While visiting family in the town of Gisborne we decided to take a day to explore Cook's Cove and the Hole in the Wall. Lieutenant James Cook brought His Majesty's Bark Endeavour into Tolaga Bay in 1769 and made landfall there. Come with us as we explore this beautiful and historic cove.
