Mike Harris runs both Canyons in Minakami ( canyons.jp/en ) and KODO Travel ( kodotravel.com/)
The route that we walked that day isn't ready for tours just yet, but Mike is working with the Matagi group to develop a number of activities and hikes with the local Matagi that tourists will be able to experience in the near future. Of course this is all designed as sustainable adventure tourism that is meant to contribute to the preservation of local culture and wildlife. I'm also doing my best to assist with this project and may in the future be doing guiding in tandem with the local Matagi. We'll see!
