Kutaka shakes around, accidentally throwing the chick far away. The chick wanders around and somehow ends up in the Scarlet Devil Mansion.

When the mansion blows up, the chick somehow ends up at the Hakurei Shrine. I'm not sure how it happened either, that's just what happened.
