What happens when I take the same Gelli transfer and decide to do something completely different with it?
In Studio Session 252, I'm continuing my experiment with this series of prints...using the same subject gives me the freedom to play, explore, and try different approaches without knowing exactly where the painting will end up.
This time, instead of painting around the subject with negative painting, I'm painting directly ON the subject and adding more papers to the piece.
One transfer. Another experiment. Another painting taking shape.
