Scientists confirmed it was Saharan dust filtering the sunset light through Rayleigh scattering — a known atmospheric phenomenon. And that explanation is true. But here is what science cannot explain. Why does every human being who saw a blood red sky over a nation of grief instinctively look up and ask — is God speaking?
