Long before the Marvel Cinematic Universe became a thing, there were plans for films based on the likes of Luke Cage, Hulk, Fantastic Four, X-Men, Blade, Black Panther and a whole lot more. In fact, go back to the end of 1992 and comic book movies were apparently on the rise - but with some very unexpected filmmakers attached!
