The late comedian and staple of UK light entertainment, Bob Monkhouse, was a movie nerd. In the 1970s, even before the VHS tape, he was collecting films, and had a collection including some real rareties.
The problem? It led to the authorities knocking on his door - and the destruction of the final copy of a 1931 movie...
