Example Project using two WAGO Bluetooth modules to communicate 100m distance outdoor. (But is rated up to 1km Outdoor line of site.)
One radio is set for the Master role, and up to seven additional radios can communicate remotely, with up to 48 bytes of data in each direction (total).
PLC's are programmed with CoDeSys (IEC 61131-3) to use the data being passed between the radios as desired. All the messaging is handled by the Bluetooth modules, and the setup software (IO Check 3), has built in diagnostics.
