The Vult Freak calls itself a "manifold" filter. It's digital, and contains models for a bunch of different filter types. I happen to have some of those filters in their analog form, and thought it would be interesting to see how closely they matched the Freak models.
Note that these are just the modules I happen to have, and may well not be the ones Vult used to create the Freak models. So I don't expect that the sounds will be identical. I'm just interested to see if they're in the same ballpark.
The source audio is a Doepfer A-111-3 VCO. Envelope is Zadar, sequence is TINRS Tuesday.
