This was a requested feature added to help improve motion capture recoding performance using laptops or lower-end GPUs.
The new "VR Wire" mode is a new view mode available in APS Luxor (v5.6.2) on Steam. This allow users to quickly enable/disable unneeded scene objects before recording. These objects are items such as dynamic bones, vr mirrors, skybox, lights, shadows, blendshapes, avatar mesh and scene mesh renderers can all be disabled just prior to recording with click of a single button. This attempts to optimize the 3D environment for the highest possible recording framerates and result in the fewest number of dropped/missed frames in the mocap data. A very simplified environment of wire mesh is displayed to the user, and greatly reduces the number of draw calls sent to the GPU during the motion capture recording.
For low performance PCs and laptops this setting should always be enabled!!
On very fast PCs if using VR Wire mode it should almost guarantees lossless motion capture!! Even very complex avatars are now no issue to record with when using VR Wire view since only the IK solvers are running and polycount of the model has absolutely no on the recording fps !!!
After recoding completes the scene then auto resets back to a normal rendered view for reviewing the mocap on the original avatar.
If no frames were lost during recording then exports to Blender should also have zero lost frames in the .bvh data. So exporting can also be (lossless) in Blender even if the avatar was highly complex or had a large number of DynamicBones physics!!
Oh also with the new VR Wire enabled it may even be possible (on some PCs) to achieve lossless motion capture at much higher framrates upwards of 90 FPS to 120 FPS.
Really hope this is a helpful feature !

![Escalator To Heaven - NOT
Its a staircase that goes nowhere.. A short animation.
Rendered using Blender (Cycles). Motion capture created using Mocap Fusion [VR] look for the free Playtest beta on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1540000/Mocap_Fusion VR

![3d-printed VR Treadmill sensor installation tutorial
Installing the encoder to most treadmills is simple and involves no special tools. Zip ties are all thats needed to secure the encoder mount to the treadmill under support bar.
Once installed you can then create mocap of running , walking and even run to stop or standing to walking animations and use the entire world.
See a example here: https://youtu.be/dqjEVryXiIs
- Or use with live-link to run around gigantic scenes in UE.
You can also find the 3d printed sensors on Ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/267288633261

![Exported mocap , Blendshapes FX , Chicken avatar and a VR camera
Blendshape FX is basically a advanced feature you can link VR controller to the avatars blendshapes and control them simply by pulling the trigger so now artists can mix full body motion capture with procedural effects to create more layers of animation in a single take! This scene took five minutes to animate (including the VR camera mocap) , and was then exported to Blender and rendered as a viewport render with wireframe visibility enabled..
To create animations like this all you need is VR and three body trackers, then Download the (free) Mocap Fusion [VR] Playtest beta on Steam : https://store.steampowered.com/app/1540000/Mocap_Fusion VR
