Our memories are shaped by the places we visit. Every experience happens somewhere and in virtual reality, experiences can happen anywhere. In this talk, I’ll show how immersive VR environments are used as scientific tools to study how the brain forms and recalls memories, revealing how space, context, and interaction shape what we remember. We’ll talk about what makes an environment memorable and what neuroscience tells us about the future of immersive design.
