There's a theme here, more than just looking ahead to whisky enjoyment in 2023.
If we look at how much has changed around whisky in the last five or so years, it's tempting to try and extrapolate forward to imagine how those changes will continue going forward and imagine what new things will be woven into the picture.
But why is it that interesting? Is it even important?
Well, because I think for the majority they are all details we'll use to help us answer a bigger question: Whatever whisky brings in 2023; will we be able to afford it?
I'll do my amateur best to summarise what I see on the road ahead and we can consider what the impact will be for us whisky botherers. Bring along your predictions - and your concerns.
