There’s nothing more romantic than a beach date. 🏖️

Eddy (red beak), a male Von der Decken’s hornbill who recently joined us at the zoo, is seen here dustbathing in the sand with our female Von der Decken’s hornbill, Acacia (black beak). Dustbathing is an important part of feather maintenance, helping to absorb moisture and remove parasites and debris. 🛀 We love to see a self-care moment between our two (hopeful) lovebirds. 💕
