Fascinating partly excavated Berber-Roman city near Meknes. It may have been the capital of the Kingdom of Mauretania. Today this ancient city have many mosaics floors and remains of some prominent public buildings and high status houses. All the area is nowday under UNESCO World Heritage Site as exceptionally well preserved example of a large Roman colonial Town of Volubilis. Worth to visit it and step into deep history.
