Delos, one of the smallest islands of the Cyclades, was an ancient centre of religious, political, and commercial life in the Aegean Sea. The not inhabited island is considered as the most sacred of all islands in ancient Greek culture.The island was dedicated to the Greek gods Apollo and Artemis.
