SCREAMO ALERT. Haha lol jk, as if I could do screamo on the clarinet...rawr ;)
Headphones and HD for the best sound!
It's the last Sunday before school starts, so, having not uploaded anything over the entire break, I thought it would be nice to do one quick final cover!
This is one of my favourite Yuyoyuppe songs, and it's definitely gushing with his characteristic epic, soaring melodies—the kind that happens to sound pretty nice on clarinet as well :D I just wish I had a subtle and natural-sounding vibrato to go with it... orz
As my parents were home, I recorded this in my room, with all of its lovely and vibrant acoustics /sarcasm That's also partly why I didn't record video this time, given how much of a pigsty it is (the other part being laziness) XD
Also played on a new mouthpiece this time! While I've yet to fully adjust to its tuning, I think its awesomely focused sound is a pretty noticeable improvement ^_^
As always, thanks for listening, and I hope you enjoy :)

![[VOCALOID] - From Y to Y (clarinet cover)
Clarinet cover of an awesome Miku Hatsune song. Sorry about the ending, the camera died :(
Set in the rather annoying key of Db+ (concert B major), which is a bit too hard to do by ear =)

![[MIC TEST] Kisaragi Attention (short clarinet cover)
Headphones and 720p for the best sound!
After having some problems with my current rig, I thought it would be a good time to try out some new gear. So I went to the music store today and rented a truckload of equipment :) Well, more like 3 mics, a bunch of XLR cables, an Avid USB interface, and a stand, but anyway... XD
0:00 Behringer B1 condenser (my current mic)
1:10 Audio Technica AT4040 condenser
2:20 Shure SM7b dynamic
3:30 AKG C214 condenser
Only effects used were compression, reverb, and a low cut around 30 Hz on the master track
Its not the most scientific of tests, cause I dont have an interface that can accept 4 inputs simultaneously, but I tried to keep my setup as consistent as possible. Just try to ignore my sloppy playing :P
Tbh, for mics that cost 2 to 3 times as much as my current one, the improvements were really, really small XD What do you guys think? (Ill refrain from giving my opinion to keep you unbiased) ^_^ [MIC TEST] Kisaragi Attention (short clarinet cover)](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/jzEEYEivqZM/mqdefault.jpg)
![[Clannad After Story] Toki wo Kizamu Uta / 時を刻む唄
Gorgeous opening from a gorgeous anime, and as such I just had to do this! Jun Maeda kicks so much ass considering how big a part he plays in the production of all these awesome series ^ ^
Being the piano noob that I am, I obviously cant play this piece as well as this guy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3SOIcE-tugY (nor do I do the piece any justice), but I do think Im slowly getting there.
