Introducing VMP Anthology: The Story Of Vanguard, a six album journey through the label’s reign as the premier destination for folk music, one of the first youth musical movements of the 20th century. Over the course of these six albums, we’ll tell the story of how a generation of musicians decided to pick up Martin guitars and advocate for a better world.
These six albums were faithfully mastered AAA from their original mono tapes and chosen by VMP to transport the listener through a pivotal time in American music and history. The Story of Vanguard is a story of a distinct period of American history, and of the songs that helped shape our present.
