Open your records with intention. One of the many tactile joys of collecting vinyl is the satisfaction of slicing open a new record. So much so that it’s traditional for record aficionados to keep a blade of some kind near their turntable specifically for this purpose. That’s why we partnered with our friends at The James Brand to create a new tool for that ritual. The Abbey is a simple fix-blade knife made from a highly corrosion resistant stainless steel, featuring a real vinyl LP inlay made from recycled VMP records and housed in a leather sheath. While explicitly designed with record collectors in mind, it’s good for all kinds of quick work.
