This is Christmas make number 6 of my 12 makes of Christmas series where we show you how to make gingerbread shapes using sewing cookie cutters which I bought from Amazon, which are sold as a set of scissors, sewing machine and reel of thread. The link is below if you would like to buy these cutters.

The basic recipe is as follows:
175g plain flour
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
50g margarine
90g soft brown sugar
1 egg
1tbsp golden syrup
Bake at 180 degrees for 5-10 mins
