The #HLF22 might be over but we still have one last Vlog to celebrate! In this video we talk to the people who make the HLF happen! Anna Wienhard, Scientific Chairperson of the Heidelberg Laureate Forum Foundation, tells us about her work and about the scientific aims of the Forum. HLF Alumni Jie Li and Pooja Bharadwaj tell us what it was like being Masters of Ceremonies of the HLF’s Opening Ceremony, and we talk to Martina Wagner and Sarah MacLeod from the HLF team about their work bringing the young researchers to the Forum. And finally, we talk to legend of computer science, Vinton Gray Cerf, about his work, and what he learns from the young researchers every year.

The 9th Heidelberg Laureate Forum took place from September 18–23, 2022.
The Heidelberg Laureate Forum (HLF) is an annual networking conference where 200 carefully selected young researchers in mathematics and computer science spend a week interacting with the laureates of the most prestigious awards in their disciplines: the Abel Prize, ACM A.M. Turing Award, ACM Prize in Computing, Fields Medal, IMU Abacus Medal and Nevanlinna Prize.
