I'm a professional Pokémon commentator. Let me take you behind the scenes of the Video Game Championships (VGC) Birmingham Regionals tournament, January 2026! Nearly 700 Pokémon Trainers descended on the city from around the globe to compete in battles in the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet games, all with the aim of being the very best like no-one ever was. An Italian had won all 4 of the EU events so far in the season - could Italy keep up that incredible streak? Join me as I relate the incredible story of the competition, hear how I prepare for commentating these tournaments and see a day in the life of a Pokémon caster - all with a little help from Natasha Bedingfield.
